A huge fire that has erupted into several explosions has broken out at a business park near Bedford.
Thick black smoke can be seen filling the sky from the area of the Twinwoods Business Park, Milton Ernest, near Bedford city centre. Nearby residents have been told to stay in doors whilst the fire brigade tackle the blaze. Thurleigh Road, Bletsoe Road, and part of Coplowe Lane have been closed.

Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue have eight fire engines in attendance and advised the public to stay clear of the area. The business park is also home to an adventure centre. The fire has engulfed 80% of the building, but all residents of the building have been accounted for.The fire has been raging so badly that it can be seen miles away from where it is occurring.
