A homeless crook once acting in the capacity of an online developer must have fraudulently established a backdoor route to The Eye Of media.Com’s site to enable him access to the site at a time of his choosing to execute his ulterior motives, experts from Godaddy have said.
A report given to the editor of the site was read out during a team meeting on Tuesday, and claims mr.Godwin(pictured) is ”every publisher’s nightmare”. The expert from Godaddy’s hosting called Robert said he had encountered a number of scenarios where unscrupulous individual’s like mr. Godwin had caused damage to their site.
Experts from Godaddy’s premium services said there is no way the dodgy developer could have gained access to the site while locked out without a log in password, unless he previously saved the SFTP when he had access to the site. It is believed he could have done this in preparation for the next fall out with the team, since he had been kicked out of the team a couple of times previously, only to have found a way back in through the editor.
A legal suit against him for breach of contract is expected to be lodged next week.
Kicked Out
Dodgy Vince Godwin, 39 kicked out from The Eye Of Media.Com last month after abusing his position by claiming to be a journalist while not performing that function, abused professional access he was given to work on the site and pulled the site off google when he discovered he was about to be kicked out and exposed on the site for posing as a journalist, before closing the account and taking the site off google.
Mr. Godwin complained he was being overly criticised by other members of the team for poor sleeping patterns between 2016 and 2018, later complaining bitterly against the police for failing to address other personal issues he had with convicted and jailed paedophile who had been around his kids without his knowledge, and for failing to follow up and assault against him by thugs in Southend Centre who also robbed him of his mobile phone in full view of the cameras.
He believed Essex police were biased against him over an isolated incident he had with them in the past. Those issues were pursued by The Eye Of Media, but not all published in articles, after the team were split on some of the issues.
Under Achiever
The under achiever who was given a life line by this organisation, became homeless after falling out with his landlady in Essex. The Grays born nuisance attended Grays school- the same school as famous Russell Brand- and told the team he actually remembers Brand from school. Mr Godwin excelled in English language in school, but dropped out before his G.C.S.E’s, later taking up a course from which he developed sufficient skills to operate as a web developer.
Mr Godwin, who was given the rare opportunity to fulfil his aspiration of being a journalist, wrote a few articles for this organisation while working as a developer on the site. According to the editor, he struggled a lot with punctuations, but was given training to improve those. Some members of the team say he secretly may have had his confidence dented over constructive criticisms about his punctuations. However, after he became voluntarily homeless following a row with his landlady, the oddball said he would rather experience the life of the homeless first hand and observe how various organisations involved with the homeless deal with them.
Tents
Mr.Godwin slept in tents for weeks before being provided a roof under the coronavirus scheme during the lockdown where he began volunteering to seek out other homeless people instead of continuing the trade of journalism he said interests him. He pointed out a few failings in the system from time to time, but never produced an article in the four months or so he was homeless.
This was even though he was offered a £2k a month contract for just 4 articles a week, in addition to social media sharing to be done in collaboration with two other members of the team- a male and a female.
Instead, big headed mr.Godwin who had boasted to be more tech savy than Godaddy experts, and had actually once successfully fixed a technical problem where the experts had failed, never fulfilled his obligations. He used his title as a journalist associated with this company to quickly establish some influence or recognition among homeless charities, attending meetings and making some positive recommendations to improve the system dealing with the homeless.
He often claimed that Councils were abusing government funding by not allocating them properly in the interest of the homeless, and challenged officials who attempted to clear the streets of the homeless, accusing them of being too harsh and less sympathetic towards rough sleepers.
Arrangements were made for the nuisance and another team member-Tony O’Riley- to travel to various parts of the Uk to research the situation of homelessness there, with the finance for such trips including feeding money all arranged. The father of three appeared to be busy trying to make a name for himself in homeless circles.
Kicked Out
Eventually, he was kicked out of this organisation after he was told he could no longer claim to be a journalist or use this organisation’s name on his social media profile. He resisted the calls, but once told it would be enforced or he would appear on the same pages where articles he had written had been published, he decided to do the unthinkable.
Profile
Mr. Godwin had been using this organisation to raise his profile among homeless charities. He was told by the boss that it was unacceptable for this to continue, and he was ordered to stop using the organisation’s name or claiming to be a journalist. His refusal led to his ejection from the team, and him being informed he would be exposed on this platform. In retaliation, he closed down his google account, and took the site off google, fraudulently using a backdoor access to the site, Godaddy officials believe.
Access
Mr Godwin, 39, was given access to the site to work on various tasks, but is believed to have fraudulently saved the SFTP, which allows users to store files, and potentially gain a backdoor route to the site, following past fall outs he has had with some members of the team over a series of issues.
These included his unstable sleeping patterns, unfounded claims that a team member was responsible for mr. Godwin’s fiancee- whom he met online but never in person- dumping him, and his claims of immense stress over issues relating to the police and their failure to adequately deal with complaints he had raised.
Mental Health
Mr Godwin in initially used the excuse of mental health issues to escape ejection from the team . He had been expelled from the team twice before over internal fall outs, but managed a resurrection both times despite clearly being unfit to fulfil his aspiration to be a journalist. He appeared to be obsessed with ufos, prompting coverage about extra- terrestrial life, and spent hours going through material surrounding the topic.
His interest in ufos was shared with two other members of the team, who also spent hours, mostly on weekend nights, going through hours of research and documentaries about the topic between 2016 and 2018.
A friend of Mr Godwin, Julia Ness: told The Eye Of Media.Com: ”I told you he is not all there. He may have some technical ability, but he was never really right in the head. It’s a lesson to learn, you guys just need to move on”. Another friend of his said: ”he is an obsessed character with some skill, but he is a bit of a weirdo”. Another female friend with whom he fell out described him as a man obsessed with ufos and the notion of narcissism.
Blocked
Godaddy experts say they have blocked any route to the website he may have created, describing him as ‘every publisher’s nightmare”. Developers like these are to be avoided like the plague. They are every publisher’s nightmare”.
The site has been resubmitted to google, but after 3 weeks, has still not re- appeared. It remains registered on bing and duck duck go, but members of the public who would have normally accessed the site from google, no longer have access via that route, until it returns to google.
Mr.Godwin when was approached for comment said: ”this is a smear campaign in which I am being ganged up against. I have removed the title of journalist and the name of eye of media from my title, but am entitled to act as a freelance journalist”.
