GUARDIAN NEWSPAPER JOIN FORCES WITH POLICE TO CATCH PETROL THIEVES

BY JAMES SIMONS

Police are looking for a stupid who driver left a petrol station after filling up his car with fuel without paying. The man driving a Fiat ounto went into the BP garage in Hatch lan Chingford and put 15 pounds of petrol into his car before fleeing, clearly ignorant of the fact that all petrol stations have CCTV cameras installed there. Police have today released CCTV image of the man as part of a joint initiative between the Guardian and the police to identify criminals who think they can commit crimes like this and get away undetected.

Now, police are asking the public to identify this man so they can hurl him before a court of law. What a stupid move he made. Money he would send on boozze, he could not spend on petrol.
