A Gay man who posed as a woman has been jailed after duping a bunch of perverts into having sex with him.
Duarte Xavier conned his victims whom he initially met on Tinder, by flirting with them on Whassap whilst hiding his true sexual identity because he wanted to have sex with them without them knowing he was a man. His victims foolishly met up with him and engaged in blindfolded sex only to later discover they had just participated in gay sex without true consent.
Xaviers devious act was criminal and nefarious, but his victims were stupid and displayed a reproachable level of perversion in agreeing to a sex act without visually confirming the physical identity of the woman. The label of perversion given to his victims are because it is my conviction that only perverts would have agreed to meet a stranger they met on Tinder and indulge in blindfolded sex Valid criticism of the victims is not tantamount to playing down the seriousness of Xaviers offence, nor is it undermining the misfortune they experienced in the hands of their manipulative abuser
In one incident, Xavier , who hails from the Portuguese island of Madeira but resides in Bournemouth, Dorset made one victim wear a pillowcase during sex. He was found guilty of six counts of “causing a person to engage in sexual activity without consent” with the four men.
Michael Hunter, Judge Advocate General, said: “In all sexual offences we must take into consideration the effect it has on the victims.
“It is a serious matter and it warrants a substantial term of imprisonment. These were offences that were committed by stealth. There was a great deal of planning that went into them. They call for a substantial custodial sentence.”
The men, who cannot be named for legal reasons, gave their accounts of the duplicity, dating from February 2016.
One victim said Xavier sounded like a woman when he arranged a meeting for sex via a telephone call.
Another said Xavier sounded “feminine” when they arranged to meet at his flat, before the pair had sex.
A third, who met him at Xavier’s flat in Wandsworth, south-west London, removed a blindfold during oral sex to see his face.
He told the court: “I slapped this man in his face once or twice and I said ‘Why didn’t you tell me the truth?’”
Xavier was remanded in custody at Kingston Crown Court until a later date when he will face sentencing.The victim stormed out and later received a text from Xavier saying: “I got a mental health problem, sorry.”
In October 2017, a 29-year-old man also messaged “Ana”, who told him “she” was a recently single female “looking for a bit of fun”.
The pair traded flirty messages over WhatsApp , leading to the victim to arrange to meet for sex in a Wandsworth flat hours after they chatted in a video call. The victim was certainly stupid and perverted to arrange for sex with a woman without seeing her face. This doesn’t condone the criminal actions of the gay man.
On arrival he heard a female voice saying: “Stay there, don’t take off and don’t move the mask.”Someone later crept up behind him and pulled the blindfold tighter. Xavier was subsequently arrested on suspicion of sexual assault and later charged with two counts of causing a male aged 13 or over to engage in a penetrative sexual activity and sexual assault.
He was remanded and later bailed at Wimbledon Magistrates Court. Cops identified his fourth victim after police after reviewed phone records from seized mobile phones.
The 29-year-old had been too humiliated to tell anyone of the encounter. The defendant, of Wandsworth, South London, was convicted of six counts of causing a male aged 13 or over to engage in penetrative sexual activity.
