Former Legendary BBC Radio 1 DJ Launches Fresh National Dance Music Station

A former BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra DJ has launched a new national dance music station, tipped to be a huge success in the Uk and internationally.

Capital Dance, a new station from Global, the Media and Entertainment Group has began circulating on airwaves on DAB digital radio across the UK today.

Headed by mistajam, real name, Peter Dalton, 37, the British DJ and radio presenter joined BBC Radio 1,  in 2000, and made a name for himself in radio circles. The station was officially launched at 4pm today, Thursday, and  promises to bring a ‘huge new energy and sound’, playing the biggest dance anthems and club mixes.

The popular and highly regarded  DJ and producer  is set to play the biggest tunes and party anthems between Tuesday and Saturday from 4pm – 7pm, on Capital Dance. And The Eye Of Destiny radio- our online internet radio station is in talks with the legendary producer for a brilliant collaboration to feature some of his shows on our radio platform.

The Nottingham born DJ began his trade at local events at the age of 14, going on to DJ for Nottingham hip hop crew Out Da Ville and for a local pirate radio station. Working alongside associate Joe Buhdha, he  also ran SureShot Entertainment organising the UK Takeover events.

In November 2009, the eminent Dj narrated the compilation episode of the BBC Switch series Chartjackers. Since  2015, he has also been hosting his show on Pitbull’s Sirius XM’s Globalization Channel 4 (Saturdays 8–10 PM EST/ Sundays 10 am – 12.00 pm EST), spreading his eclectic sound to a global audience for the first time.

On 16 May 2016, MistaJam performed a set live at Victoria Park in Leicester for the victory parade after Leicester City won the Premier League title. He subsequently  won the ARIAS Music Broadcaster of the Year award for his BBC Radio 1Xtra show.
