Essex Rogue Landlord Is Scared His Squatters Could Give Him Covid-19

By Gavin Mackintosh-

Essex Rogue landlord, Robert Crow is scared of catching Covid-19 from squatters in his property who are frequently breaching lockdown rules, The Eye Of Media.Com has heard. The 71 year old landlord who has had three of his properties repossessed,  lives in the only flat of his originally owned four bedroom house not yet repossessed by his creditors.

Crow was close to losing the only flat in which he currently, resides last month when lockdown rules  came into force alongside instructions from the government for all home repossession to be prohibited during the pandemic. This saved him at the last moment.

Apart from government rules insisting Uk residents on lockdown only go out for essential goods , mr.Crow also has a court order from Basildon Crown Court, prohibiting him from allowing anyone spend the night at his property. Now, holed up in the bottom flat at his property in Southend On Sea, Crow says has been stuck with a Russian couple whom he says goes out for hours before coming back late at night.  The despised landlord says this is a regular occurrence and he is scared that the couple squatting at the property could easily pass the deadly Covid-19 virus to him. The notorious landlord says it is affecting his mental state. He told The Eye Of Media.Com:

”This is becoming ridiculous, I have these couple in my home who are refusing to leave, but go out everyday until late and come back. Its the same story everyday. They are increasing my chances of getting this coronavirus, and they don’t seem to care that I belong to the high risk age. I have called the police in the past to get rid of them, but they keep telling me it is a civil matter. I just called one again on 101 and they are telling me it is civil. I tried again last night and got through to an officer who said they will make it a priority for today.

I am still waiting. This bloke has no right to be here and is putting my life at risk”Image previewand

Knowledge

Police officers have different levels of knowledge about some aspects of the law, and many do not seem to understand that court orders are to be executed by the police even in circumstances of squatting.  Southend Borough Council have also  distanced themselves from any of Crow’s internal issues.  They would consider him to be the authour of his own problems. Crow who claims to be battling depression after falling behind on his mortgage payments when Southend Borough stopped his rent takings currently lives without electricity after his supply was stopped due to irregularities in his electric metre.

Mr Crow was caught breaching social distancing rules himself this month when neighbours who dislike him noted he had been regularly going on strolls with a lady  contrary to government guidelines. He insisted it was his only way to maintain sanity.

A neighbour asked about their view of mr. Crow’s fears said: ”So Mr. Crow is worried about catching virus now. If he was that worried he would have been self isolating for the  past few weeks and not mixing with public.  I saw mr. Crow walk towards the seafront the other day and stop to speak  to a delivery driver. Neither were observing social distancing. Crow was almost hugging him! He has learnt nothing”.
