BBC radio presenters, Tony Wadsworth and Julie Mayer are facing the embarrassment of their lives.
The historical sex allegations against them are very disturbing. The pair are accused of encouraging young teenage boys to engage in sexual activity with them.
The pair had been having sex outdoors against a tree, “laughing and giggling”, as young teenage boys looked on. when Julie invited spectating teenagers to join them , according to claims made against them.
60 years old Julie , who was in her 40′ s at the time , started touching one of the boys and encouraged him to touch her, Warwick crown court heard.
She would sunbath topless with no knickers, before inviting the boys to ” come and have a play”, the shock court was told.
Devil’s Cave
One of the boys, now in his 30′ s, said he was 14 when he and his friends watched the couple have sex in a remote spot known as the devil’s cave in Mancetter park near Atherstone.
The boy claims to have been sexually touched by Julie , who also encouraged him to touch her in return. 69 year old Tony Wadsworth apparently was at one point the camera man, according to the man.
EMBARASSED
The pair, dubbed the Richard and Judy of local radio, must now be one of the most embarrassed couple in the country. Most observers will believe the detailed allegations , which must be proven for a conviction to take place.
DENIAL
Mr . Wadsworth denies ten charges of indecent assault against seven boys under 18 years of age. His wife denies 12 charges. They may have been good radio presenters , but will need the performance of their life to get out of this one.
