The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle is off to New York in preparation of a baby shower on Tuesday. The shower is to be thrown by her best friend Jessica Mulroney. Another shower set to take place when she returns home after her official trip to Morocco.
Meghan’s friend is the daughter-in-law of former Canadian Prime Minister Brian Mulroney and a well-known Toronto personality and philanthropist. The pair first met years ago when the former actress moved to Canada to film her hit legal series Suits. The Canadian stylist was also Meghan’s ‘unofficial’ Maid of Honour at her wedding to Prince Harry in May. Meghan is preparing to give birth in the spring, and the British public will be expecting a national celebration which would attract plenty of attention. Meghan has been the subject of much controversy in the British press, with plenty of revelations about her personal family strains causing her much upset. However, the Dutchess is generally happy and looking forward to being a mother. She has been the victim of online trolls, and hello magazine launched a kindness campaign to address the evil attacks coming from trolls.
