Donald Trump Claims Big Lawsuit Will Reveal Evidence Of Widespread Ballot Fraud

By Aaron Miller-

Donald Trump claims he will soon present evidence of widespread ballot fraud and other wrongdoing in “great detail” in a “big lawsuit”. His tweet announcing the plan did not reveal what the big evidence is, or why it has not yet been tendered in previous lawsuits which were thrown out.

The president’s tweet did not present the grounds of the tweet or when those grounds will be made public. The president’s legal team have seen multiple suits against the election thrown out. The president  continued  his campaign on Tuesday by promoting the demands of Randy Quaid, the actor, for a full re-run of the vote – despite his administration finally stating they have begun the official process of transition to Joe Biden’s leadership just a day earlier.

In an early-morning retweet spree Mr Trump also promoted Mr Quaid’s declaration that “FOX IS DEAD TO ME!” – following a segment last night by right-wing commentator Laura Ingraham in which the long-serving Fox News host admitted that Mr Biden would be the next president.

Trump has been criticised by the media and commentators for holding on to his claim for power without providing any legal grounds for his challenge.

The president-elect and Kamala Harris are preparing to formally unveil members of their cabinet at an event this afternoon. The roster includes Avril Haines as national intelligence director, the first woman to hold that post, and Antony Blinken as secretary of state.

Full Equal Partner

Meanwhile Europe hopes to be treated as a full and equal partner of the US  after Joe Biden assumes the presidency following years of “damage control”, two top diplomats said today.

Augusto Santos Silva, the Portuguese foreign minister, told an event in Berlin the EU hoped for a new phase of talks on trade, noting the major objection to negotiations with the Trump administration was its language.

He said: “We were permanently treated by our American friends, and the Trump administration, not as friends and allies but as adversaries or even enemies.

“And we were always asked to choose: either you are with us, the Americans, or you are with China.”

“Of course we are with the Americans, but not as the minor partner, not as a follower , it’s a question of being a full and equal partner of the United States.”
