Deontey Wilder has sent a threatening warning to Tyson Fury, in which he showed off his ripped muscles on film.
“It’s your boy Deontay Wilder,” he said in an Instagram video.”The WBC champion of the world, the baddest man on the planet, the hardest hitting man that you’ve ever seen.
“You see these big muscles, I want you to know I’m coming for your boy Tyson Fury.”
The clip was uploaded to MTK Global’s Instagram account yesterday, where it has racked up more than 20,000 hits already.” Wilder looks ripped and dangerous, but Fury’s fans are banking on the fact their man will have over a two stone advantage, and be very fit too. Tyson Fury has recently brushed away widespread ideas that his two and a half year absence from the ring will affect his performance adversely.
Fury has lost over a stone since his last fight and will have the physical advantage of any action that occurs if both boxers fight on the inside at any stage of the fight. A lot of fight fans are beginning to believe that Fury will beat Wilder on December 1st, but those in favour of a Wilder win outnumber those who believe Fury will win.
The American is still the hot favourite to emerge victorious on that big night. Fury is intent on upsetting the odds, in the manner he did against Wladimir Klitschko in Germany. Wilder knows he can’t take Fury forgranted, and says he is priming himself for the ultimate mission of hurting Fury.
The video from Wilder is a weapon of intimidation to Fury, but how far it achieves this aim depends on Fury’s mindset. Fury heart may palpitate if he imagines the impact cumulative punches from arms like those can have on him in the full view of the world and his family. That can make him really nervous, or it may rile him to be acutely sharp on the night and give it his very best. He will need that to make the fight good to watch. The will to win may be an important factor in this fight.
Yet, a look at Wilder’s menacing arms will surely prepare Fury mentally for war at some point in the fight. Fury has promised to deliver a technical masterpiece that will see him inflict Wilder’s first defeat. If he does, he will be instantly be the man of the division.Those arms of Wilder’s send signals of knock out power, one Fury would not want to meditate on in advance of the fight.
His plans are to focus on a hit and don’t get hit tactic, one he has mastered well to make himself a difficult target for his opponents. Whilst many will be tuning in to see what round Wilder knocks Fury out, the intriguing element about whether Fury will smother the American and dominate the fight is what many are looking forward to. Fury’s self belief is one of his attractive attributes, but that goes out of the window if he is being delusional.
