A 9ft python has escaped from a property in Essex, and has prompted warnings for people to be on alert.
The giant reptile disappeared from a residence in Shoebury yesterday morning and has still not been found.
Experts believe the dangerous snake might be hiding under a nearby garden shed and will likely show up when the Sun comes up. However, its immediate destination when it shows up is the very issue of conern because it could show up anywhere.
Worried cops have called on Iain Newby, of Dangerous Wild Animal Rescue Facility to help with the search.
“It has probably ended up under a nearby shed,” he said. “If the weather is nice, there is a good chance it will come out to sun itself, Newby said.
“As a result, when the sun is out there is a much greater chance of finding it. If anybody does spot it, then please let me know and keep an eye on it until I get there.” Reality is that there is no guarantee that Mr. Newby will get there in time to capture the snake before it disappears from sight. More worrying is the speculation it may be hiding in somebody’s shed, although Pythons are generally non venomous snakes.
Pythons are one of the largest snakes that exist today. They are constrictors and kill their prey by squeezing them until they stop breathing. They generally do not attack humans unless they feel threatened, though exhibition of fear by a human may indeed make them feel threatened.
This is not the first time a Python has escaped from the its habitat which should necessarily shield the public from it. And it is no surprise that not much is being said as to exactly why and how it managed to escape, when someone should be held responsible for this. It is absolutely inexcusable or a python to be able to escape from its hope, and in this regard someone should be held responsible. It will be interesting to know when this python gets found, and lets all hope it hasn’t attacked a little kid, an old lady, or indeed any other member of society. Hopefully this python is rescued safely, though if it must attack someone, we must appeal to the python to develop some psychic powers and attack a murderer or some individual who is a menace to society. Chances are that it will be found safely unless someone alarms it unduly-which can happen.
