Covid-19 death figures have been manipulated , it is a national scandal, a funeral director has told the Daily Mail.
The British publication revealed last Saturday that it is conducting an inquiry into wrong Covid-19 deaths, after a number of grieving families reported deaths had been wrongly certified as Covid-19.
Reports of manipulated death certificates were rumoured during the first UK lockdown, but later died down as several lives were lost to covid related causes.
Now medical experts and MPs have also expressed their convictions that too many fatalities were being blamed on the virus.

The Eye Of Media.Com has been examining the allegations of manipulated death statistics ever since MP Desmond Swayne only recently openly refused to apologise for comments he made in 2020 claiming that the death numbers were manipulated.
Calls for disciplinary action against Mr Swayne for allegedly spreading disinformation have so far produced no action.
Research we conducted in December in January revealed a lot of scepticism about the accuracy of death figures associated with Covid-19 deaths, although most sceptics acknowledged the reality of the virus, but for others, it turned them completely off abiding to social distancing and lockdown rules,
The topic was raised a few times in 202o with the Department Of health, but in the context of how the cause of death is reliably determined in cases where patients have other serious illnesses. The revelation from the Daily Mail further raises alarm on this question.
The publication stated that over 100 readers wrote heart breaking letters following a moving article by Bel Mooney last Saturday. She revealed the death of her 99-year-old father, who suffered from dementia and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, was recorded as coronavirus.
The Liberal Democrat MP who chairs the all-party parliamentary group on coronavirus, said: ‘The Government should call a public inquiry into the handling of the pandemic immediately with an interim investigation into all Covid deaths that should report as soon as possible’ .

Shockingly, eight of the families who wrote to the Daily Mail have successfully urged doctors to change causes of death previously recorded as Covid-19.
Layla Moran, the Liberal Democrat MP who chairs the all-party parliamentary group on coronavirus, said: ‘The Government should call a public inquiry into the handling of the pandemic immediately with an interim investigation into all Covid deaths that should report as soon as possible.’
Tory MP Paul Bristow, a member of the Commons health committee, said: ‘It’s almost certain that a number of deaths have been wrongly attributed to Covid-19.
‘Not only has this skewed figures when data has been so important in deciding how we respond to the pandemic, it has caused distress and anxiety for relatives.
‘Whether we have received the most appropriate figures should definitely be considered in any future inquiry.’
The British government is unlikely to have an appetite for such an inquiry right now, but this is now an issue that cannot indefinitely be ignored.
