Seventeen year old Lloyd Gunton was a brain washed convert of Islam, one of his pals have claimed. Gunton was jailed for life imprisonment after being caught planning a terrorist attack at a Justin Bieber concert in the UK
The teenager from Llantrisant, south Wales had researched the security arrangements at the Justin Bieber concert as well as other possible target sites in the City Centre such as Cardiff Castle, New Theatre, Capitol shopping centre, Cardiff Central Library and other local attractions.
A former friend he insisted on anonymity, told The Eye Of Media.Com
” Gunton has always been a bit of a weirdo. He met a few teenagers who were ex jail birds, and had been brainwashed in jail, and appeared to be warming up to it. I remember him telling us how he had learnt that the Koran was the most reliable word of God, and had scientific evidence foretold from the start.
”Gunton was always kind of intellectually inclined, but had the tendency to want to have an impact on the world. He often made reference to people like Einstein, Elon Musk, Stephen Hawkins, and others like them. He would say how Britain ‘s foreign policy was against Muslim countries, and that many of the wars led by the West were wrong”.
I clearly remember him once saying how it is always good to have a fair assessment of facts and not just be blindly patriotic. The irony is that by planning to commit a terrorist attack, he was contradicting his own principle of being fair. He was prepared to take innocent life”.
”We debated Islam, in particular the view that Islam permits a man having five wives. I remember a few of us telling him how wrong that rule was, but he would defend it by saying at least it prevents cheating and allows a man the satisfaction of justified sex with multiple women”.
I think he was a brainwashed convert who believed everything he heard because he it was convenient. He believed women should be lower than men, and always respect the leadership of men”
”He wanted to have a real impact on the world, but nobody expected him to try and make a negative impact on the world like he did”.
The story was brought to The Eye Of Media.Com after a chance meeting with one of the team in Scotland on Monday night. The former friend evidenced his past association with Gunton by calling friends spontaneously to confirm their former relationship. However, he rejected persuasions to be named or photographed for this article.
