Convicted criminal, Christian Nwala lost his appeal to overturn his conviction for assaulting his landlord.
Violent 48-year-old Nwala, was given a 26 weeks suspended sentence for attacking his landlord and damaged her eye suckets . The 48 year old brute from Plumstead South London, appealed a conviction of assault given to him by Bexleyheath Magistrates Court last February.
Today, his appeal at Woolwich Crown Court was dismissed because he had no grounds to appeal it in the first place.
The shameless convict lives with his wife and three young children at the £400,000 property in Plumstead, but continued to live in the property owned by his landlord where he has lived free for the past year. The landlord has insisted on anonymity, citing her safety . She has consistently declined requests for her disfigured to feature in our coverage of the story, saying she finds it humiliating. for fear she may be recognized and ridiculed by any jealous people.
On Tuesday, we told how the woman lost a separate civil suit to evict Nwala from her property in February, after her own lawyers negligently bungled the case. Nwala denied being in receipt of the eviction notice given to him by the landlord at the hearing of the Magistrates Court in which he was convicted for grievous bodily harm. However, at the civil hearing, he denied having knowledge of the eviction notice of two months to evacuate the property. On his testimony, the judge ordered the landlord to follow the correct procedures and give him the required notice.
CRITICISM
He also criticized her for failing to give Christian Nwala her email address, rather than the requirement for her name and address to be written for tenants to see. On Tuesday, she told The Eye Of Media.Com: ”why would I leave my address for potentially dangerous tenants to have access to. This requirement doesn’t make sense that is why I give tenants my email address. How can a man who has not paid me rent for over a year continue to live there free of charge, doesn’t pay for electricity, and calls the police for silly reasons like me having workers in my property”.
After his appeal was dismissed today, she told The Eye Of Media.Com: ”I knew his appeal would be dismissed. He is a very foolish man. How could he think he could win an appeal when the evidence against him was there to see. He is an ungrateful and disgraceful human being. How can he sleep at night knowing that a woman who took him in with no deposit is paying the mortgage, his council tax, and he lives off the electricity of her tenants, yet has the guts to appeal a conviction for a crime he knows he committed. He even leaves the television on when he is out, because he doesn’t pay any electricity. He has no value for it.
MP MEETING
Last month, the aggrieved landlady had a personal meeting with Plumstead MP, Clive Efford, who promised to intervene is addressing the crazy and irrational state of affairs that has seen a landlady of multiple properties have to put up with a violent animal who attacked her continue to live in her property without paying a dime . The Eye Of Media.Com contacted Plumstead police in April, asking them to address the endless calls made by Nwala and his wife, aimed at distressing the landlady. Plumstead police have been called to the address at least 6 times this year, without any action taken against anyone on each occasion. Efford admitted it was a waste of police resources.
”Christian Nwala must be a madman. He is happy to continue living free in my property, after more than one year,and he is still fighting to stay in my property without paying rent. The courts have permitted him to stay because I did not give a dangerous man like Christian Nwala my full address. If he can attack me in my own property that I rent out to tenants, imagine what he could plan if he knew the address where I live with my family. I’m afraid the law sometimes doesn’t make sense. I am going to continue my efforts to get him out, he must get out”!
