Christmas presents must flow good between lovers, and there can be no excuse for a supposed lover not to hand over a present to their significant other.
Unless ofcourse one lover is without money completely, in which case one can ask what the other lover is doing in the equation. Jokes aside, people can meet hard times without warning, but any partner with an income who fails to present the other with a Christmas present must have some questions to answer.
Some relationships are full of spice all year round, with both partners exchanging gifts and sweet words throughout the year. Loving couples with intense romance between them will not leave out Christmas from their time table of affectionate display. Except one party is in real trouble, loving partners must add to the already strong relationship buzz they have by presenting a Christmas present to each other
Any lover not delivering on presents at all must expect to be quizzed on this. Who have they been spending their money on? If they have no money, they better go and find some, or a job that pays money. Hard times can befall anybody, but Christmas is the wrong time to plead broke to your lover.
Unless the one pleading broke is the woman, since we all know it is the man’s job to be the breadwinner. Cries of sexism cannot arise here, though women are often sharp when it comes to doing their best to be in a job that produces a satisfactory income. My partner has already handed me my presents which I will open on Christmas day. He gets his on Christmas eve.
He knows that birthdays and Christmas are a must when it comes to presents, and that is on top of all the expected acts and symbols of love and affection throughout the year. The quality of each present will depend on the quality of the man’s pockets, but really, the quality of his heart and feeling towards his partner.
