China’s Ambitious Plans To Put Humans On Mars Before 2033 Reflects Its Historical Development

China has announced its ambitious plans to put humans on Mars before 2033 is a reflection of its historical development.

The manufacturer of China’s top rocket maker, Wang Xiaojun has revealed its plans to send several crewed flights to Mars to build a base. The permanently inhabited base would help Beijing obtain the planet’s natural resources. Wang Xiaojun, the head of the China Academy of Launch Facilities Technology, revealed the new plans, in which astronauts will be tasked with constructing a base for future expeditions as well as extracting resources from the red planet.

Speaking at a space exploration conference via video link, the manufacturer said the mission would be carried out in several trips, with some already scheduled for 2033, 2035, 2037 and 2041.

China’s lofty ambition to populate the planet is expected to create a new space race between the country and the United States, providing hot competition for  SpaceX and Elon Musk, who has expressed similar interests to put people on the planet in the near future.

NASA  also plans to launch the Artemis mission to send Americans to Mars by 2033 . Both countries plan to use similar technology to reach their goal, including rockets that use nuclear reactions to generate heat and electricity. At the moment, liquid hydrogen is used to power spacecrafts.

Nasa expects to be able to cut the trip to Mars to four months, while avoiding cosmic radiation using a similar methodology. China’s mission of the Tianwen-1 probe mission was its first interplanetary exploration that achieved a successful orbiting, landing and roving the Red Planet at ince. Wang introduced the three-step plan for future Mars expedition.

At the primary stage, androids will be launched whose mission include a Mars sample return mission and the exploration of a Mars base site.

Next will be a manned Mars mission, and the building of a Mars base will be carried out.

The third stage will attempt shuttling large scale Earth-Mars cargo fleet and large scale development of the Red Planet.

The timetable for its grand mission launches will be 2033, 2035, 2037, 2041 and 2043, among others, the academy said.

China successfully landed Chang’e-5 and collected samples from the moon at the end of 2020. The country has plans to continue the exploration of Earth’s largest satellite with the US’s old competitor, Russia.

China has historically trained their citizens to think very smartly, developing them through a rigorous academic system from a young age that advances their brains far quicker than their European counterparts.

Chinese students have scored high on international performance tests and are considered to be one of the smartest world wide, influencing their adults to expand their minds to ambitious heights.  The Chinese are considered to be smarter than Japanese or Korean students, definitely smarter than the smartest Europeans, and even  Americans.

With all its advanced training,  the Chinese government is largely regarded  as totalitarian and authoritarian, running a dictatorial system. Its historically bullish insistence of just one child  was undoubtedly a smart idea, but one which should never have been imposed on its citizens. Overtime  the draconian restrictions has benefited its people, and researchers say families with just one child maximizes the focus parents can have in training them, and enables the family income to to go further.

The Chinese government recently changed its laws, permitting Chinese people to have three children, but many of its citizens are already content with the old restrictions which they find beneficial to them. China’s strict and ambitious way of development continues to influence the country’s overall goals and ambitions in its drive to dominate the world.
