CCTV Of Suspected Arson Attacker On Metropolitan Train Released

British Transport police are looking for this man in connection with an arson attack on a Metropolitan train.

The incident happened just after
12am on Monday, February 5 on board a Metropolitan line train travelling between Northwick Park and Wembley Park.
A man set a number newspapers alight, and recklessly placed them on a seat before leaving the train.
The fire was eventually discovered by staff at Wembley Park station and put out. His motive is unclear, but in many cases like this it is a sheer case of mischief and lack of concern for the consequences of their actions.

Incidences like this on the train just show how ignorant a lot of people can be in failing to consider the fact there are cameras in the train that capture criminal moments like this.

The estimated damage to the train was put at a total cost of approximately £4,000.<“>Criminal acts like this are unacceptable and reveal a section of society with individuals who should be locked away.

A British Transport Police spokeswoman said: “Officers believe the man shown may have information which could help the investigation.
