CCTV Image Shows Random Attack On Berlin Woman

By Eric King-

The public has been enraged by CCTV footage of a man violently kicking a woman down a flight of stairs at a Berlin metro station.

The ferocious attack by 28-year-old Svetoslav Stoykov on a random woman in October of last year at the Hermannstrasse metro station has shocked members of the public. No Established motive for the attack is yet known.

Stoykhov was jailed for two years and 11 months, facing charges of grievous bodily harm (GBH), and a none-related charge of exhibitionism.
Stoykov was himself violently attacked at Berlin’s Heidering Prison, as inmates lashed out in anger against him.

Prison inmates hid their faces in T-shirts and rushed into Stoykov’s cell, attacking him after a prison guard opened his cell door at 4.05pm.

Stoykov was relaxing on a couch when he was suddenly attacked by a group of prisoners who absconded the scene thereafter. His attack was a natural consequence of cama resulting from his barbaric act.

It is more logical to assume that the man knew the woman or knew of her, otherwise, he would be a mentally ill individual who is completely out of his mind. Some assailants don’t disclose their knowledge of the victim to police because of a hidden agenda to suppress the true historical circumstances of the attack.

When the concerns of hiding the background circumstances behind an attack are shared by the attacker and the victim, an attack will look random when it is not. At the same time, it is worth being conscious of the fact that random attacks do occur.

Stoykov can expect more attacks in jail unless security screws go out of their way to offer him a high level of protection. They may consider the costs too high and not worth it. They still have a duty to keep all inmates safe.
