Butler: Panaroma Style Interview from Harry And Meghan Is A Matter Of Time

By Sheila Mckenzie-

It is only  a matter of time’ before Prince Harry and Meghan give a ‘major exposé’, similar to his late mother’s infamous Panorama interview, according to former Butler, Paul Burrell.

The former servant to the royal household, 62, appeared on British television, ‘Lorraine’ this morning, where dramatically claimed that Harry, 36, is being ‘led down ‘Meghan’s path’ because he is so ‘besotted with her’, and he feels she can ‘do no wrong’.

Butler said he believes that the Duke of Sussex will eventually return to the UK, unable to ‘stand’ being away from his ‘friends family and culture’ – but thinks the Prince and Megan, 39, will first give a tell-all US interview, similar to that of the Princess of Wales in 1995.

Butler’s claim will not go down well with the Royal family, who value their privacy, and do not take kindly to tell al interviews. which do not necessarily tell the whole story.

A tell all interview will be expected to reveal intimate details and inner tensions that existed in the royal family, including well documented fall out between  Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton, and Prince Harry and Prince William.

In her explosive interview, which was watched by 21 million people when it aired, the late Princess spoke candidly about her and her husband’s extra-marital affairs, and questioned Prince Charles ’s suitability to be King.Princess Diana on Panorama, from an interview conducted by Martin Bashir c. 1995 “- Well, there's no better way to dismantle… | Diana, Princess diana, Martin bashir

Butler believes that the Duke of Sussex, pictured with Meghan Markle on Commonwealth Day this year, will eventually return to the UK, unable to ‘stand’ being away from his ‘friends family and culture’ .

When asked whether he thinks Meghan and Diana are similar, he said: ‘I think they’re different women of different times.

‘Meghan is of now, Diana was of then, and they were very different times. Meghan is a modern woman with modern ideas and they’ll do things very differently.

The globally watched interview of Princess Diana about two decades ago, was watched by 21 million people when it aired. In the interview, the late Princess at the time dubbed the most famous woman in the world, spoke candidly about her and her husband’s extra-marital affairs, and questioned Prince Charles ’s suitability to be King.

When asked whether he thinks Meghan and Diana are similar, he said: ‘I think they’re different women of different times.

‘Meghan is of now, Diana was of then, and they were very different times. Meghan is a modern woman with modern ideas and they’ll do things very differently.

The boys will be brought together again by their mother,’  Burrell added, ‘And I’m hoping from then on we can see an end to this spat.

‘But it happens in all families up and down the country, people are saying now “My son married a strong independent woman who led him on a different path”. That’s exactly what happened to Harry.

Ideas

‘He’s married this woman who has ideas of her own, he is so besotted by her and in love with her that she can’t do anything wrong, now he’s being led along her path.

He went on: ‘It won’t always be that way, because I can’t see him happy in Los Angeles, all his friends his family and his culture are back here in England.

Burrell was instrumental in bringing broadcaster Martin Bashir into her residence, smuggling him into Kensington Palace under a blanket ahead of the interview so he could meet Diana. The former servant to the royal household, 62, appeared on Lorraine this morning, where he told that Harry, 36, is being 'led down Meghan's path'

‘You know history has now told you she was hurting, said Paul, She was a vulnerable fragile woman and it was planned, over months.

‘I later learned that the princess told him everything she would like to say in the interview and he fixed the questions around her answers.’

Regret

In a subtle insinuation that such a panaroma style interview could be eventually regretted by Prince Harry and Meghan, he added that the late princess regretted a lot of what she said

‘She wished she hadn’t said so much she said to me once’, said Paul, ‘She feared what the boys would think and the reaction from them.

‘They were children an to hear her say, yes she was in love with James Hewitt and she adored him, that would have repercussions. She loved her boys they were the center of her life, nothing came before her children.’

He stressed that the ‘void’ that has risen between Harry and William would have been resolved by Diana, who would have ‘banged their heads together’ and tell them they were ‘being silly’.

‘There’s a void that has opened between the two’, told Paul, ‘And it should be filled by her mother, who would probably bang their heads together and say “Don’t be so silly”.

‘She treated them the same, she knew one would be king, but she treated them the same. They were her boys.
