Burger King Announces Brand New Burger NationWide Plus 30 New Jobs

Fast food chain  has today (October 13) announced that it will be launching a brand-new burger in its restaurants nationwide. burger king is also offering more jobs.

The new mouth-watering item comes with a southern-style twist with the Memphis Crispy Chicken burger perfect for those that like a smoky flavour.

The Memphis Crispy Chicken burger (£9.49) features a succulent chicken breast, sandwiched between crispy bacon slices, melted American cheese, three onion rings, creamy mayo and  Burger KIng’s signature smoky BBQ sauce all served in a toaster brioche bun.

The new exciting burger will launch in restaurants nationwide on October 18 but some burger fans will able to taste the new addition before anyone else.

As previews for the burgers start from Saturday, October 15 until Monday, October 17 and those who use the burger king app will even be able to use a buy-one-get-one-free offer too.

The much-loved Memphis King beef burger uses Burger King’s iconic flame-grilled beef burger, three crispy onion rings, a heap of mouth-watering bacon slices, two layers of melted American cheese, a swirl of cool mayo, some tangy BBQ sauce all served in a lightly toasted soft sesame seed bun.

An international burger chain has announced it is opening a new restaurant in the North East.

Burger King will create 30 new jobs by opening in Gateshead, with recruitment for a variety of roles now open.

The new restaurant will open in the MetrOasis shopping complex near the Metrocentre and will stand next to Starbucks coffee drive-thru, Toby Carvery and Krispy Kreme.

The unit was previously occupied by Harvester.

Jeremy Wright, people director of Burger King UK, said: “During what has been a very challenging few years for many businesses, we are delighted to be creating new job and career opportunities in the area, and look forward to welcoming 30 new starters into the Burger King family, at our new Gateshead restaurant.
