Buckingham Palace Celebrates 91st Birthday Of Queen

As gun salutes, resounded across various parts of central London, Buckingham Palace has celebrated the 91st birthday of the Queen with a tweeted a picture of the monarch as a baby on her christening day when she is held by her mother Elizabeth, Duchess of York. Another picture of the Queen when she was 21 was also released as she received the Freedom of the City of London.

It has been 7 decades since then, and the Queen has lived through two world wars since then, and also lived to experience her grandchildren and now great grandchildren. The head of the British Monarchy, she has a keen interest in politics, and also enjoys a nice debate about various issues in private.

A few months ago, her majesty the Queen expressed disappointment in prime minister Theresa May, for not including her son’s discussions about the process Brexit would take, though May herself was still uncertain herself.
Gun salutes took place in London – at midday, with a 41-gun salute in Hyde Park and 21-gun salute in Windsor Great Park, ahead of a 62-gun salute at the Tower of London at 13:00 BST. All accounts are that the queen is healthy and in good spirits and will be spending time with many members of her extended family.
