British Surgeon Stabbed In Neck For Being Muslim

By James Simons-

A muslim was stabbed in the neck on his way to a mosque for an unknown reason.

Consultant surgeon Dr Nasser Kurdy was attacked outside the Altrincham and Hale Muslim Association at about 17:50 BST on Sunday. The motive of the attack is believed to be a hate crime because of Mr.Nasser’s religion after he told police that his attacker shouted offensive Islamophobic comments at him. The police are at the moment not giving any details, but will need to do so soon.

Dr. Kurdy, a pious Muslim is the vice chairman of the mosque he attends, and was on his way to the mosque when the attack happened. Talking about the incident, Mr.Kurdy told reporters he was lucky to survive because the attack could have been fatal.
“From my profession I know that you get a blow like that, invariably it’s a stabbing even though you don’t feel a cut,” he said.

“There’s a lot of vital structures in that area and some of them can be fatal, there’s no two ways about it, and some of them can be very disabling.” Some parts of the North of England have some very intolerant low life individual among them who are on a twisted mission to attack random Muslims as their response to terrorism caused by some Islamic fanatics. Individuals like that are demented, but in cases like this, it isn’t always possible to tell whether the attacker has a different motive for attacking, and is acting on behalf of someone else.

Assailants who have a problem with someone would often use the opportunity to display any prejudices they have against people of the same orientation as their target. It doesn’t weaken the hate element arising from a negative stereo-typical branding it exposes the evil element of hate in the offender. Terrorism cannot be fought by actions similar to the terrorist, and those who take that warped approach are just as bad as terrorists themselves, and should be in a mental home, not in the streets.

Two people are being held in custody for the brutal attack, and will ultimately be heading for prison where they could even become worse and more dangerous. That’s where they belong, monitored closely. Terrorism will continue to be fought, but it must be done the right way, which is not to incite religious hatred of any kind, but to look out for potential terrorists whenever we catch wind of one, and have them reported to the authorities. Potential terrorist can only be spotted by observing those who promote extremist behaviour, and show a tendency or interest in promoting terrorist acts.
