Britain Got Talent Under Criticism

By Eric King

UK’S popular show, Britain’s got talent is under fire following criticism from many quarters. Show host, Declan Donnelly has been heavily criticized for describing group zyrah Rose as touchable.

Several tweeter users described the host as sleepy, following the practically cheeky and unnecessary comments. Alot more is expected of television presenters, particularly following the number of undignified conducts of television personalities in the last few years. Britain’s got talent is rightly under criticism for this thoughtless comment by their host.

On a separate note, there was plenty of criticism and outcry after Amends Wardens vote for Scouse star Wars dance troupe took to the public vote against Childwall dancer, Jack Higgins.  In a seperate show of anger,  Boogie storm was furious after Piers Morgan referred to the group as pointless and thick, in a damping criticism against the group.

If Morgan had good reason to feel the group is thick and pointless, then that is a matter of opinion which  he is entitled too. His comments were no doubt hurtful, as they were made on national television, but criticism is part of the game. No act who comes on Britain’s got talent should be scared of criticism.

The only thing is that a well watched show  like Britain’s got talent should as much as possible be fair to all its contestants.
