A lottery winner of £1m in Birmingham has one month to claim their winnings, after which it will go to good causes.
The ticket was a winner on the Lotto draw on 24 November 2018, but the winner has been going about their daily affairs unaware that a handsome million pound cheque awaits them.
The winning numbers on that date were 15, 27, 30, 32, 42, 43 and the bonus ball was 10.The missing winner matched five numbers and the bonus ball to win the prize. Thousands of unclaimed prizes go to good causes every year, but the lottery is primary meant to reward the winners of the game. Camelot say the lucky ticket-holder only has until 23 May 2019 to make their claim. Nationally lottery players who may have purchased a ticket in the Birmingham area are being urged to check their tickets thoroughly one last time
The new-look Lotto draw has seen bigger cash prizes on offer across the board and all winners in the five plus the bonus ball prize tier are now guaranteed millionaires.
Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at The National Lottery, said, “Time really is running out for the winner of this prize, but we are still hopeful that someone will come forward at the very last minute to claim the money.
