15 Year Old Drop Out Charged For Killing Six In Leeds Crash

By James Simons-

A 15-year-old school drop out has been charged with causing the deaths of five people when a car crashed into a tree in Leeds.

He appeared at Leeds Magistrates Court charged with five counts of causing death by dangerous driving.

The teenage tear away is believed to be a secondary school drop out, according to sources who spoke to the eye of media.com in Hyde Park, Leeds. The black Renault Cleo which killed six people after crashing in Meanwood was stolen that same evening from Headingley- a predominantly student area targeted by criminals who often see it as a soft target.

Three children and two men, all traveling in the same car, were killed in the crash in Stonegate road on Saturday night. Emergency services were horrified by “a scene of total carnage” upon their arrival. Te tragedy is an example of the consequences of absolute stupidity practiced by teenagers who simply choose to be rebellious. A 15 year old has no business driving a legitimate car with the permission of its owner, let alone a stolen one. A boy of 15 should be concentrating on his education and preparing for his G.C.S.E’s ahead, but there are always those who try to grow up quickly without the proper development to earn the good things of life.

Luckily for the silly tear away, his identity will be protected by the law because of his age, but those who know him will always remind him and others of the fatal consequences his criminal tendency has caused. After causing the death of others he should have sleepless nights.

The three boys and two men died when the black Renault Clio they were travelling in crashed into a tree in Stonegate Road, Meanwood, at 21:54 GMT.

West Yorkshire Police said the car had been stolen in the Headingley area at about 18:30.

The force said that six people, including the five who died, were in the car at the time it crashed.

The 15-year-old boy is due to appear at Leeds Magistrates’ Court.

A second 15-year-old boy who was arrested in connection with the crash has been released under investigation.
