Pop star, Dannii Minogue will star at this year’s Manchester Pride festival, eye of media have learnt.
It has been 9 years since Dannii-sister of Kelly Minogue- performed live in the UK, so her fans on this side of the ocean will be in for a real treat. Also performing will be Britain’s Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon and drag act La Voix to the final line-up for the event which celebrates the city’s lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities.
The Aussi superstar will be performing in association with G-A-Y at the UK’s biggest Pride celebration- which is one of two planned performances she makes in the UK this year. She is currently a judge on X factor Australia where she recently announced a return to music with Summer of Love, a taster track released to coincide with her acclaimed performance at Sydney’s Mardi Gras festival.
Danni Minogue rose to prominence in the early 80’s for her role in the Australian television talent show ‘young talent time’ and Home and Away, before beginning her career as a pop singer in the early 90’s, achieving early successes with hits such as ”Love and Kisses”, and ”This is it”. She has played the role of a judge on Britain’s x factor, and has plenty of fans in Britain.
