However, despite the saucy romps so far featured on the widely watched show, nudity on a reality show flaunted like a desirable show, should be condemned. The pair emerged out of the shower fully naked, much to both the delight and disgust of viewers who took to twitter to express their shock about the pairs naked shame on celebrity big brother. If ratings are what the programme makers were aiming for, they may get them with numbers but not true ratings in terms of quality television.
Complaints to of-com regulators have been several since the show began this year. Simpson’s mother told The Mirror she does not mind her daughter walking full frontal nude on television, claiming to love her daughter unconditionally.
Her pledge of support for her daughter is unsurprising, she is her mother after all. Not all mothers have high standards when it comes to development, in fact, mothers with high standards are in the minority.
Housemates on the television show are naturally expected to fall for other gorgeous housemates, but walking around naked just because it is past the watershed period, is just not one that should be encouraged.
It turns women into sexual objects and men into sex-mad hunters, which is not what should be encouraged in society.
A society driven mainly by sexual impulses fail to appreciate the value of love and relationship, and ultimately encourages men to put sex above love, and women to be the easy objects of male pursuit, especially if they think it will earn them fame.
