The EU commission boss reckons they should be open to show solidarity with refugees trying to move across the continent.
Condemning the notion of nationalism, he suggested we reject the “avenue of populists”
It’s funny coming from a man who is head of the EU, surely he can’t be expecting Britain to keep its boarders open without control in the name of refugees.
Mr Junckers was speaking in Austria which has reintroduced boarder checks, and obviously did not care what they thought.
Juncker has already previously shown signs he lives on another planet. How he can try and set a dictatorial tone is bullish.
Solidarity with our fellow human beings will eternally be a welcome idea in principle, but boundaries are always necessary in any setting.
Migration Watch called the Commissions dismissal of genuine concerns “arrogant”.
Jeane Claude Juncker once claimed that the difference between him.and Hitler was “more than just a matter of nuance”,
He is head of the EU commission for a reason. The EU serves the purpose of bringing member states together for the purposes of solidarity and joint economic progress.
It essentially is a positive thing, but when some countries say they don’t want an unrestricted flow of EU members in their countries, Juncker must respect that.
