Cannabis Oils In America Cure 3 Year Old Epileptic child From Ireland

Cannabis oils in America have been used to cure a three-year-old child who suffers from a rare form of epilepsy.

Tristian Cahalane is just three years old but has suffered from Dravet Syndrome his whole life. The chronic illness led to a monthly admission to hospital for drop seizures with traumatising consequences such as black eyes, ‘bloody noses, and chipped teeth’

Epilepsy causes recurrent seizures that range in severity from rapid blinking to unconsciousness, rigidity, and muscle jerks.
His mother Yvonne, told The Irish Sun of her desperate decision to move to America in order to get try the Cannabis oils, not legal in the UK or Ireland, to heal her child’s traumatising illness. She has since been treated at the Children’s hospital Colorado, where treatment has shown great signs of improvement on her child. Prior to the treatment, Yvonne stated that life had been unbearable and he could not be left in a room even whilst sleeping, as ”as we would have to have a camera on as he was having up to 20 seizures a day”.

In a testimony to the successful treatment, Yvonne said;
Triston is three months seizure free now. He is a complete devil. He is getting into mischief, everything you would expect from an active healthy 3 years old. He is doing so well now. He is counting on his fingers, he’s singing his ABC’s and he is eating well, which is in sharp contrast to previously when we would have sat at a table for hours trying to get him to eat”.

She added:no family should have to make a decision like we had to when Triston and I moved to America last December. The mother of two was forced to move away with her children, leaving their father behind, in order to prioritise her health.
10 years old Forest Smelser, is among 467, 711 children suffering from epilepsy in the United States, after being diagnosed with epilepsy, only a week after his 8th birthday. KOMO NEWS reported that on some of his worst days, he would suffer an experience of these seizures every 15 minutes.

After doctors prescribed Forrest Trileptal, an antiseizure medication, his seizure miraculously stopped, though he experienced side effects noted by the Food and Drug Administration to happen to 1 in every 500 people. Cannabis oils have also been used to cure many types of cancer. Studies show that Marijuana when used with opiates, can be used for pain relief. Researchers from the American Academy of Neurology also found that the drug in the form of pills or sprays can reduce stiffness and muscle spasms in multiple sclerosis.

The active ingredients in cannabis, tetra hydro cannabinol, is more effective than mainstream drugs in preventing the formation of protein clumps that can inhibit cognition and memory. as well as preventing the enzyme acetylcholinesterase, from accelerating the formation of ”Alzheimer’s plaques in the brain. The medical benefits of Cannabis oils for curing chronic illnesses is somewhat unrivalled among a pool of available drugs in the NHS, making it all the more curious a question why such oils are not legitimately included in the NHS.

Calls for the legalisation of cannabis has long been pushed aside by complex issue of political correctness, among which are concerns of appearing to endorse a substance which has long been pushed in the black market and layered with ingredients that contaminate it’s the purest form of natural cannabis. Perhaps a second look at the medical benefits and how much relief it could bring to the lives of epilepsy suffers, and several millions of others who suffer from different ailments, might be useful.
